Hagley Golf Club
HGC is located right in the heart of the city, only a few minutes from Addington City Motel. Golf has been played in Hagley Park since 1873, the oldest Golf Course in Christchurch.
HGC caters to golfers of all abilities, from beginner to expert, and is a Par 72, 18 hole course. HGC is 5814m in length, which is comparable to other golf courses off their White tees.
Hire and Play
In order to make golf more affordable and accessible to everyone, HGC has recently introduced a $35 Hire and Play package http://hagleygc.org.nz/play-at-hagley/. The package includes:
- hire clubs,
- a trundler,
- balls and tees and
- a round of golf (9, 12 or 18 holes).
Even for 9 holes, this is extremely good value.
